Key terms

Workflow - A prescribed sequence of actions to follow when responding to an alert.  At Watchful, our philosophy is to provide all the relevant information (like site contacts) and tools (talk-down capabilities, and live view) in one intuitive interface - tailored to each specific scenario.  For example, during a ''Possibly Staff" workflow, the relevant site contacts will be displayed automatically, so you won't need to search through other pages or spreadhseets.  

Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) - 

The specific, predefined steps your company follows to handle various monitoring scenarios. These procedures ensure consistency, compliance, and swift action during incidents. For example, if an intruder is spotted on site, your SOP might require you to:

1. Alert law enforcement, and

2. Notify the designated site contacts to report the intrusion.

Intruder workflow  - A workflow specifically designed to invesigate a possible intrusion and to precisely follow your company's SOP's.

Possibly Staff workflow - Another essential workflow designed to help you determine whether detected individuals are friend or foe.

False Alert workflow - A workflow designed to help you quickly discard false detections and provide feedback to both site administrators and Watchful. This helps improve system accuracy and reduces the likelihood of similar false alerts in the future.

Hot Keys - (or keyboard shortcuts) are specific combinations of keys on your keyboard that perform actions quickly without needing to navigate through menus or use a mouse. They’re designed to improve speed and efficiency during tasks.
